​There is more to Cadence Carmichael than meets the eye.  On the surface, she’s a successful bank manager in Los Angeles and lives comfortably with her fiancé.  Just underneath her good girl veneer, she’s also a girl who loves to commune with nature. 
 
On a whim, she sends in an audition tape for a reality show titled “Naked.” The wildly popular show features a pair of contestants that are dropped in the middle of the wilds and forced to survive by any means necessary – all while being followed by a film crew.
 
No one is more surprised than Cadence when she’s actually accepted.  So she waves goodbye to her comfortable life in LA and heads out to Madagascar to begin filming.  But when she finally meets her partner Jackson, she somehow knows that her life is about to change forever.
 
As they navigate unimaginable hardships, the spark between them grows into an inferno that they just can’t walk away from.

​“Thank you.” 

“For?” 

“For being so strong and brave,” she complimented. “You're holding up better than me.” 

“You're welcome, but don't thank me,” he told her. “We're both working hard to get through this together.” 

“I feel like I'm letting you down,” Cadence confessed. 

“You're not.” Jackson's grip on her arms intensified, and his face moved closer to hers. “You're just trying to survive in a place we're not supposed to.” 

His unshakeable confidence and belief in her and them as a team touched her soul. She felt stronger in his presence and connected to a deeper source of energy. The sun created an ethereal halo around him as his mouth hovered near hers. Cadence's delirious thoughts spun in her mind and her heart pounded in her chest anticipating his next move. 

Quietly, he asked, “Cadence? Are you okay with this?” 

“With what?” she questioned, instinctively knowing what he meant but too cautious to assume.

“With this,” he reiterated, brushing his mouth against hers.

​There is so much more to Naked than first meets the eye! Kay Brandt wields a special kind of alchemy that balances the insane level of heat with a seriously complex storyline. Not only are her characters tough and determined, the feelings that develop between them throughout the story are fragile and honest.
 
Don’t let the cover fool you.  Yes, it's HOT but it’s also fast-paced, emotional and smart.  And I absolutely can’t wait to see where Kay takes it next…
