Jennifer Interviews William and Christian From The Light Series!

Okay. So normally I write guest posts that give writing tips or talk about the magical aspects of falling in love with a book. But every once in a while I can snag two of my male leads from The Light Series and talk them into doing an interview with me. That's always fun, mainly because (and readers familiar with the series will understand), these two have an...erm...dynamic. But anyway, let me just introduce you to William Maddox, American Sentient, and Christian Wright, British Sentient, of the Light Series.

 Say hello, gentlemen.

Christian: Good day, everyone.

William: Hi there. By the way, I just want to say that between the podcasts and these interviews, I'm starting to feel kind of like a man whore.

Jen: Well, I'm sorry about that, but it's for your own good. How else will they know who you are?

William: They could read the books, DeLucy.

Christian: Oh, Maddox, do shut up. I love these interviews. They give me a chance to shine.

Jen: Christian, you mother would be appalled. Telling someone to shut up is rude.

Christian: Well, I suppose it normally would be, except that I've said it in a knee-melting British accent, which negates all signs of incivility.

William: No, it doesn't. Still rude. Very rude.

Christian:  Are you going to cry, Maddox?

William: Not at all. I'm going to screw with your head so you think you're a couple of parakeets having sex. Then you can act it out in publi--

Jen: Ooookay. So I'm going to ask some questions. I'd like nice answers, thank you. Keep it polite.

Christian: Yes, Maddox. Keep it polite.

William: Always.

Christian: Oh, and what of the rutting parakeets?

William: They're trained to say please and thank you.

Me: Guys...

William: Sorry. I'm sorry.

Christian: No he's not.

Jen: Christian, stop moping.

Christian: Then tell Maddox not to turn me into a parakeet! Not that I wouldn't make a dashing bird...

William: Seriously?

Jen: First question! William, what is your favorite love song?

William: Hmm. Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. But Fastball's "Vampires" is a close second.

Jen: And Christian?

Christian: Something by Sammy Davis Junior. Or Frank Sinatra. Or The Beatles. I don't know, too many to choose from. I refuse to pick just one.

Jen: If you insist. Okay, then tell me something about you that no one else knows?
Christian: No one else? Well, I played a bit of water polo when I was younger. Oh! I have a scar on my left buttock.

Jen: Nice. Want to tell them how you got it?

Christian: Nnnnope.

Jen: Tease. And William?

William: I have too many secrets to count. But, I'd say...I once lived in a cave for a year.

Jen: Is this because of...you know...you being...you know?

William: Yes. Which people will have to read about to understand.

Jen: Okay. Fair enough. So, gentlemen, one last thing. Why should people read The Light Series? William?

William: Because Christian gets his ass kick--

Christian: Hey! NOT true. I do, however, kick other peoples' asses. Which is lovely, but the fact that you get three books full of me should be reason enough.

William:...Reason enough to jump off a cliff.

Jen: GUYS!

William: Sorry.

Christian: Jealousy is an ugly thing, Maddox.

William: So is that shirt, Christian.

Jen: And we're done!
