{Book Review} Spend The Night (Episodes 1 & 2) By Elizabeth Lee (@ELWrites @WordsmithPublic)2/2/2015 Spend the Night – Episode 1 Welcome to The Wellesley-Crawford... Hannah Wellesley has spent her entire life running the halls of her family-owned hotel, the infamous and opulent Wellesley-Crawford. Noted as one of the city's richest, most luxurious hotels in Chicago, the WC is what Hannah has devoted her life and career to. The hotel’s Annual Masquerade Gala is the event of the year, but this year Hannah’s evening involves more than just handing out masks. After a mysterious rendezvous in a secluded stairwell with an irresistible and unidentifiable man, Hannah becomes consumed with discovering the identity of her masked lover. Just as she’s about to give up the search, two men blow back into her life with drastically different intentions. They both have secrets and uncovering them will lead Hannah down a darkly dangerous path. Drawn to both of the intriguing bachelors, she’ll have to determine which one is after her heart and which one plans to do her deadly harm before it’s too late. Someone’s playing a deadly game… Two men vying for your attention—seems like every girl's dream come true. For Hannah Wellesley, the dream has become a nightmare. As she continues to navigate her feelings to determine which man she truly belongs with—the first love who’s become her current business rival or the enticing new chef who’s testing her sexual limits at every turn—a new set of problems presents itself. One that includes a breach in hotel security that has her fearing for her own safety and the reputation of the Wellesley-Crawford. Soon she finds herself playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse that might just cost her everything she’s worked for—and maybe even her life. Hannah Wellesley loves her job at the Wellesley-Crawford. Her family has run the prestigious hotel for generations and no one knows it quite like she does. One night during a gala, she is seduced in a secluded stairwell by a masked stranger that haunts her dreams for months afterward. “I let him take me in the dark to a place that I'd only dreamed about—a place where two people were able to physically connect in a way that was beyond explanation, one where there was no right or wrong or socially accepted norm. A wicked crack of thunder reverberated through the walls of the old hotel while the mysterious stranger shook me to my core. But the return of her first love turned business rival - Trent Crawford puts her heart and her hotel in a precarious position. She’s torn between a man from her past and one who promises the future – and one who is willing to do anything to possess her. Hannah made a mistake by letting Trent get too close but she’s not about to fall for him again. She takes refuge in the seductive charms of Carter Delavan – the WC’s brand new Head Chef. But when one question is answered, many more are revealed. Can she find out which man is stalking her before someone pays the ultimate price? “Despite the fact that I couldn't stand the way that he had treated me, I could still feel his hands on me. I could still taste his lips on mine. The familiarity of his kiss caused my will to weaken. I still wanted more even thought I knew I shouldn't. I was literally going to have to stay away from him, because if he asked to me to, I knew I'd let him fuck me again. I had too much dignity to put myself in that position again. Or at least I thought I did.” Spend the Night is a wildly erotic rollercoaster ride that will leave you gasping for breath and then wondering what just happened! Just when I thought I had everything figured out, Elizabeth threw me for another fabulous loop. I loved characters and then I hated them. I was sure that they were innocent and then they were guilty. I hope that I can hang on to my sanity long enough to devour the third and final episode due on February 17th… Get The Books -
