All Malachi wanted was to forget about the shit-show they’d all just endured with Victor and Nicholas and spend the rest of his life with the love of his life…Megan.

He’s approached by FBI Director Connors to protect his son who is a star witness in a case that would bring an end to the reign of terror of Nicholas and Victor.  The last thing he needs is to be away from Megan while trying to babysit some spoiled rotten kid.  But he knows that no one else can keep this kid safe until the trial.

When he finally lays eyes on Justice Connors – he immediately realizes that he has found the missing piece of his battered soul.

“Then, out of fucking nowhere, during Jasper’s rescue, Megan had sauntered into the picture and wrapped the alpha Dom around her tiny pinky with only one look from her pretty blue eyes. Malachi had fallen in love instantly and he had fallen fucking hard. Megan had been victim to the same love bite and there should have been a ‘happily ever after’ in their lives…but it looked more like two alphas grappling for control and neither of them were willing to hand the reins over.  Megan was, unfortunately, just as dominant in the bedroom as Malachi.  The idiots had thought they could just live a nice vanilla lifestyle where they fucked missionary style every night and whispered ‘I love you’ every morning.  The ‘I love you’ worked out just fine.  Vanilla, not so much. 

So, what happens when you have two sexually dominant people in a relationship and neither of them have an itsy bitsy ounce of submission in them? Fucking hell on earth, that’s what happens. It was fucking hell on earth for everyone within a ten mile radius, which included every person residing at the castle.  To sum it up, fucking hell on earth for all of them…with no end in sight.”

Justice managed to get himself into some hot water trying to explore his desire to submit.  Now his over-protective father demands that he stay locked away in the hills of Tennessee with a bodyguard until trial. 

Malachi is one tough, regimented and intimidating badass.  He rarely talks, rarely smiles and makes it very clear that he is immune to Justice’s charm and inhumanly good looks. But there is something about the way that Malachi looks at him that makes him want to kneel.

Justice tries to reconcile that Malachi already has a woman that he loves more than life itself and that he’s never even been remotely attracted to a man before. So when Malachi and Megan ask him to belong to them – and them alone – he’s both elated and destroyed.  How can something so perfect ever really work out and will they abandon him when they find out just how broken he really is?

“Justice felt like the little drug-addicted motherless bastard kid again.  He was a grown fucking man one minute and a whimpering whelp the next. The taste of fear and loneliness still lingered in his mouth…and mind. Eight years. He had lived eight years without love or affection, without anyone touching him unless it was to abuse his body in some way.  He was twenty-one years old now.  That meant he’d lived thirteen years with nothing but love and affection from his adopted parents.  Why the hell, then, did the eight years always override the thirteen?  Why couldn’t he let it go?  Ten fucking years of therapy with the FBI’s finest and he was still fucked up in the head.  He was still that little boy in the closet, hiding and hoping.”

Justice For Me is a powerfully emotional journey of two men who believe that they are unworthy of devotion and the one woman that holds them together.  The characters of Malachi and Justice couldn’t be more different and watching them navigate their unconventional relationship was heart wrenching and yet liberating.  And with Megan, they are the perfect pieces in an imperfect puzzle.

It’s about defying society’s labels, listening to your heart and finding out just how far you would go for love…
