Riker has waited patiently to avenge the death of his pregnant mate at the hands of the Martins.  So when MoonBound needs inside intel from Daedalus, he knows exactly who to target.  But Nicole is nothing like he thought she would be - smart, compassionate and beautiful.  His desire for her goes against everything that he once thought mattered to him but he’s willing to face fear, pain and even death to keep her by his side.

He found Nicole in the bedroom.  She jumped off the bed, where she’s been sitting with a piece of paper, hands frantically folding out some sort of animal shape.

“Get out,” she rasped.

He prowled toward her. “After.”

“After what?” She swept up a glass of water off her nightstand and hurled it at his head.  He stepped easily aside but didn’t avoid the water that splashed on his back when the glass shattered against the wall. “After you yell at me some more?”

“No,” he said darkly.  “After we finish what we started.”

Bound by Night has made this one of my favourite vampire series of all time!  The story was so uniquely smart and combined action and steamy love scenes in just the right amounts to set the pages on fire. 

The second book, Chained by Night is set for release on September 30th, 2014 and we can’t wait to see the amazing things that Larissa will think of next…
