The brother known as Hound has a reputation. He’s all about cracking heads, having a good time, and when the Chaos Motorcycle Club needs someone to do the tough job, they call on him.
But Hound has a secret. He fell in love with a woman years ago. She’s untouchable. Unattainable. And even when her status changes, for Hound, it remains the same.
Keely Black had it all early and lost it all not long after. Thrown into an abyss of loss and grief, she’s faced a life of raising two sons alone and battling the rage at all that had been ripped from them.
Words spoken in anger open Hound’s and Keely’s eyes. For Hound, he sees he’s wasted his life loving the wrong woman. Keely sees she’s wasting her life not opening herself to the love of a good man.
There was only ever one woman for Shepherd “Hound” Ironside. Even long after the tragic death of her husband, Hound kept his distance but was always there when she needed him the most.
He did that for her two sons that he loved as his own.
He did that for his dead brother, Black.
But most of all, he did that for Keely.
He kept himself in check because he was Chaos. Until the night when she added fuel to his eternal flame and there was no turning back.
Tack watched him walk around the other end of the table from where Tack was sitting in the meeting room at the Chaos Compound. He waited until Hound’s hand was on the door before he called his name.
Keely Black once had her happy. She had a husband who lived and breathed for her and their two beautiful sons. But Black was also Chaos to the marrow of his bones. That was eighteen years ago.
Hound was one who made sure that justice was served. He was the father that her sons needed and he was always her lifeline to Chaos – and she knew that they deserved to have so much more.
What they have together is against every rule but they are willing to risk it all to finally have their own brand of wild love.
“Wild like the wind,” she whispered, and now the look on her face made Hound slide one hand farther up so he was cupping her neck and scalp from under her ear.
Wild Like the Wind is Kristen Ashley at her absolute gritty and scorching best!! She immerses readers right back into Chaos with a love story that tests the bonds between all of her legendary characters – both old and new.
Hound and Keely’s journey isn’t pretty but it’s more than just a little real. They tear at your heart and heat your blood in ways that you will never forget. And they will teach you how to grab on to your happy and never let it go…

About The Author ~
Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn't taken her first breath!).
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
