Through good times, bad times and times of war, Cole “Rush” Allen grew up in the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Along this journey, he watched his father, Tack, and his MC brothers fight, sweat, bleed and die to steer the Club to legitimacy.
And they’ve got one more battle on their hands.
A battle they have to win.
But when Rush meets the woman who put herself right in the thick of it, he knows he has to stop at nothing to get her out.
Rebel Stapleton has lost someone she loves to murder and she’s the kind of woman who’s going to do something about it. She puts her career on the line, and her life, to bring the man who did it to justice.
That is, she does this until Rush Allen intervenes.
Chaos is at war and they’re about to face the ultimate showdown. They’ll have to negotiate skeletons from the past, enemies becoming allies, and loved ones in the line of fire on their ride to be…
Rebel Stapleton never thought she would end up directing porn movies. Instead, she had dreams of making award winning documentaries. But that was before her best friend was brutally murdered.
She's not exactly the kind of girl to just sit back and wait for justice to be served. So she devises a plan on her own to go undercover as Tallulah Monroe – and it puts her right in the crosshairs of the man that Chaos is preparing to go to war with – Benito Valenzuela.
“I got a file,” Hawk told him. “I’m givin’ it to you. You read it. Then you get that redhead’s ass out of her porn set director’s chair and back in her bohemian wasteland pad in north Denver. Hank’s troubled. Eddie’s pissed she tied their hands. Jimmy’s considering retirement. They all want her out. She won’t budge. I figure Chaos will have the touch.”
Cole “Rush” Allen knows that there is something special about Rebel the moment that he lays eyes on her. She’s beautiful, brave and just a little bit wild.
He agrees to wade in and convince her that the game she’s playing is far too dangerous to go on. Instead, he ends up finding the woman who is his match in every way.
If they can survive her eccentric landlady, dead bodies and all the family drama, they will finally have a chance at being free.
“It’ll be okay,” she whispered.
Free is the book that I have waited years for!! My Rush crush was born the moment he played Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” on endless repeat in Motorcycle Man. Back then, I thought that there could never be another member of the Chaos MC that could ever measure up to Kane “Tack” Allen.
But leave it to his son to set the bar at all new heights.
Rush has always been the moral compass of Chaos. When some of the members – including Tack - were quick to judge, he was the voice of the brotherhood. And when he finally surrendered his heart, it would be a romance for the ages. And it is.
All of the Chaos brothers, their women and families (even Knight Sebring!) play a special role among the pages. Reading the continuation of their stories while falling desperately in love right along with Rush and Rebel made it all the more momentous.
And in the last paragraphs, Kristen sprinkles some of Essence’s special fairy dust and makes something that could have been bittersweet into something that is just... sweet.
She may have even inspired me to change my name to Rebel…

About The Author ~
Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn't taken her first breath!).
Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.
Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).
Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.
And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
